Biography:
Chris Whiting is fast becoming one of the country's leading singer/songwriters, creating catchy, guitar driven tunes and songs taken from every day experiences. Chris's songs are instantly accessible, with catchy melodies, and at the same time have a depth of songwriting, and often a sense of humour, that invites repeat listening.

A recent review described the track 'Please Forgive Me' as 'the swaggering Please Forgive Me, a stripped down rousing toe-tapper of a tune that'll have you hollering along in glee'.

Jon Brookes of the Charlatans said of the track My Boy 'I hope this beautiful song gives people something to reflect on'. This track has been officially endorsed by SSAFA Forces Help as their charity single, and had received backing from some of the UK's largest corporations.

Chris has has been writing and playing since he was about 10 and has plenty of live experience having been gigging in various forms and formats since the age of 16.

Chris gigs either solo, with an acoustic band or a full band for larger venues. The material takes on a different life in each of the forms of Chris's act you're watching, from the stripped back solo gigs where the lyrics come into their own, to the acoustic band where the guitars, bouzouki and bass combine with this material to give a truly unique sound. Then there is the full band, where electric guitar, and drums are added into the bouzouki bass and acoustic mix to produce a sound, a vibe and an energy unlike any other acts you'll see.
