Biography:

Ross Taylor began djing in 1998 when he was heavily influenced by the evolving trance scene at the time. Regularly spending weekends on the dancefloors of the North's most popular clubs; Cream, Gatecrasher and Renaissnce, he developed a driving ambition to be the one spinning the tunes.

After a move to University in Sheffield in 2000 Ross Taylor began to emerge as a DJ talent to be reckoned with. After a year of rocking the student dancefloors and parties word spread and soon he secured sets at Sheffields finest clubs including Gatecrasher and Bed.

As time progressed his music taste evolved and Ross decided to move away from the increasingly commercial trance sound. He launched his own boutique club night at the intimate Brown Street offering vocal house to the more discerning clubber. After a string of sell out nights, Ross decided he needed to experience the world outside Sheffield and left our shores for a year and half travelling.

Upon his return and move to London, Shiva were quick to realise the talent that had arrived and snapped him up as an exclusive resident. Ross Taylor can now be seen sending crowds in to a frenzy at some of London's most prestigious clubs and parties including a regular slot at Pacha. Ross now plays a driving mix of house and electro seemlessly put together to ensure there is never a dull moment. Taking the latest tracks and sampling some classic looops Ross Taylor will always get a dancefloor jumping.
