The projects on the player are produced and composed by Ru. Some for co-producers and vocal writers involved in the Silent Earth (vocal writer and co-producer is Dan Karrouze), Divine Icons (Vocal writer, singer and co-producer Abbi Awesu) and Murdoch projects(co-producers Dan Bewick and Abbi Awesu). Ru has had releases with V2, Ministry of Sound, Cowboy, Jambo, J.A.M. UK and Scrape recordings. He has been published with Perfect Songs (ZTT/SPZ), Paul Rodriguez. Ru has worked in studios ranging from the bedroom, the Dairy in Brixton through to Abbey Road in London and many studios imbetween. He has done mastering with Geoff Pesche@Abbey Road. Ru does music mainly. He started cleanin toilets and doing maintanence when he left school, bought a computer and decided to do music (melodic songs, electronica, production) so sat in a room for years doing music, on a computer. Coming from a musical background helps in the area of harmonys, he still cant read music. From there he got a manager and got on with it. Born in London, grown in Scotland and habitant of Brighton for 20 yrs. He probably listens to Meshuggah to much for some-one that loves writing original and teasing pop music. He spends 7 days of the week composing/writing and producing, on average about 10 hours of the day (when he can...otherwise you will find him occasionally working in the guitar shop and finding new talent in there). He doesnt like the technical side to much (though he has learnt it through neccesity and knows his transformers from his chips and valves from his transistors and has a very good idea of which mic sounds best on what and why with correct impedance imbalancing can improve and enhance ones sound from source, etc, etc, etc) as it can tend to put barriers around musical creativity that can hinder the magic from falling out of the ether. He loves finding and capturing the essence of the artist. Since the age of 16, Ru's own tracks (songs, electronic, advert pieces, seedlings-ie rifs in fones and on dictaphones that trigger full songs) and those he has built with others at the last count amounts to around 1500 pieces of music. Ru has used 5 samples and around 3 presets.
