    'The Shortest Day' is the latest release from Shy June. The E.P. features 4 brand new tracks which were recorded at Gareth's home in Chelmsford, Essex.
    The disc was produced by both members before being taken to Abbey Road Studios, London to be mastered by Christian Wright.

    This is the first Shy June release to include performances from outside musicians. 'Northern Lights' features Vaughan Jones on Viola and Julia Graham on Cello. The French horn heard on 'Last' was performed by Philip Maguire. All strings and horns were arranged by Shy June.

    The cover photography was taken by Sigmund Pettersen.
