1. Can I participate no matter what country I live in?
Absolutely! It doesn't matter where you live, everyone can participate.
2. What are the requirements for videos?
- The video you are submitting to this competition should be of good quality, and show yourself as a soloist or your band actually performing the song on camera.
- No slide shows, photo compilations, etc are allowed. It must be a live action video of you and/or your band performing.
- One submission per contestant AND per band, so choose your best video/performance to submit.
3. How do we pick the winner?
We have now added a judges panel, consisting of music industry professionals, to help choose the winners of the competition. R&R World users will vote for their favorite videos of artists performing cover songs, then the 5 videos with the most votes will be passed along to our judges, who will decide who takes first place.
4. Do I need to be a member of R&R World to participate?
Yes! Only registered members of R&R World can participate in this competition.
5. Once I upload my video, how should I promote it?
We will give you a link to the URL for your video to share with your friends and post on your other profiles and websites, as well as a widget which you can add to other sites that will allow visitors to vote for your video.
6. When will the winner of this round be announced?
March 3rd
7. What happens to the votes once this round ends?
At the start of every new round, we wipe away all of the votes that every video received during the previous round. Everyone gets a fresh start to keep things fair.
